How Often Should You Rotate Your Tires?

Tire health is an important component of your Cadillac’s maintenance schedule, and that includes regular tire rotation. If your Cadillac has FWD or RWD, it’s important to keep the following in mind:

• For FWD and RWD systems, you’ll want to rotate your tires around 5,000 to 7,500 miles. Be sure to consult your owner’s manual for exact intervals.
• If you’re a DIY person and plan to do your tire rotation yourself on your FWD Cadillac, flip the sides when moving the rear tires forward. The rear tire will go on the front left. However, when moving the front tires to the back, be sure to keep them on the same side.
• For RWD vehicles, do the opposite as you would for FWD vehicles

When to Rotate Tires: AWD Drivetrain Process

In all-wheel drive models (you probably guessed it), the power from your engine is evenly distributed to all the wheels. To rotate your tires on your AWD cars, you’ll want to follow the pattern below:

1. The left rear goes to the right front spot.
2. The right rear goes to the left front spot.
3. The right front goes to the left rear spot.
4. The left front goes to the right rear spot.
